WOYWW #191

Hey y'all! It's that time of the week again...What's on your workdesk Wednesday? The ever so fabulous Julia from Stamping Ground got this party started so here are the pics of what's on my desk today:
What's all that?! Yee! It's my goodies from Joann's online! They just got here this afternoon! I got a pile of new stamps I am excited to use and a few more TH ink pads and reinkers, in colors I didn't have yet. They run a super sale on TH ink pads and reinkers...you can even get the limited color reinkers for $2.99 each! Of course I didn't figure that out until after this order so another one is winging crawling its way to me! I am very thankful they offer free shipping, because if I had to pay to get something a week and a half after I ordered it, I might not be thankful! :) I shouldn't complain though, I think the international folks have to wait that long or more as a standard wait time! Ugh, right? Who says we don't have any patience?! :) So next pic is what I have actually been doing craftwise for the last 2 weeks...drumroll please...
Ta Da! That is over 100 cards! They aren't all fully completed, most are just readied to the point of adding a sentiment and appropriate embellishments. They are all inked, though, with some corners having received special cuts and whatnot. This means I now have a stock of cards ready for last minute because I forgot spur of the moment events! :) Plus I got a few bookmarks started. I think they might make a nice inclusion in some of my future cards or something. Anyways, thanks for stopping by and have a super week!

  1. Good for you, a hundred cards in inventory! Everyone seems to shopping lately, lol I've already used up February's budget! Loved your comment you left on my blog about putting everything in a basket and pretending it's suppose to be there on purpose, hadn't thought of doing that, lol Thanks for visiting my blog, you put a smile on my face, waving hi from the hills of North Carolina ♥

  2. Hi hun!! You silly goose! You've put in your link, but it goes to JULIA'S BLOG not yours!!! Probably why you don't have very many comments so far.

LOVE your new haul - have to love a shopping girl like myself, lol!! Enjoy!

WOW!!! You've made a ton of cards lately! And they're gorgeous!

    1. Thanks Queenie Jeannie for the heads up! I went and put in a new entry, way down at the end of the list now, but at least it works! lol :)
Thanks for thinking my standby stock is looking so good...I'm excited to have them at the ready and just get to do the fun bit of adding embellishments when I need a card! :)

  3. That is such a super haul Deeyll and so glad that you could splurge nothing like a bit of retail therapy to fix any crafting habbit. LOL

You have been a busy beaver creating all of those cards, wow that is an amazing amount

I think I might post up my haul from Kaisercraft the other week. LOL

    1. Oh, you totally should! It's good for us Americans to not feel so smug about our access to Micheal's and Hobby Lobby and Joann's and so on! And the deal you got was amazing! :) And it will settle us Americans down, I say! lol No, it will make us come over in droves to hit up that Kaisercraft factory...they won't know what hit them! :)
Joann's was just running the best sale and their selection is so different from the HL we have here in town. I hadn't even heard of Darcie's Stamps, but they are awesome and were ridiculously cheap, like a sheet of stamps for $4.09! (And they are some of the cutest stamps I have now!) And the small packs of Inkadinkadoo were only $1 and I finally got a Father's Day image! I really don't have a single one of those. Anyways, thanks for stopping by and thanks *always* for enabling me via the forwards. ;)

  4. Enjoyed this peek at your desk, and I must say I chuckled over the JoAnn's shipping comment. I passed on the last several of their 'free shipping' because I had gotten so irritated with their slowness. I'm spoiled due to some of my other online places being speedier shippers. JA does have some nice sales though. I'm so impressed at the 100 cards in 2 wks. Gosh it may take me a week just to get one finished. And your cards are always so lovely. TFS

    1. Yah, I don't know why they have to take so long to pull and ship an order out, it's ridiculous! You would think a company that big has several employees to pull orders, but the amount of time it takes to "process" an order! I think they've only got one guy and he must just walk around wondering, "Now where do they keep these ink pad things?"! And then the shipping time! Last time when my box finally got here it looked like it had been to China and back it was so beat up and had taken so long! lol But they do have great sales...I figure it helps me grow in patience. :) And I can certainly use all the patience I can get! lol

    1. Haha! You're only not last because I messed up my linky entry! :) I was pretty impressed myself with the 100 cards...it usually takes me at least a week to make a single card! lol

  7. Ah Deeyll, what a fab idea for those spur of the moment panics...but 100 cards, crikey that's deeply impressive! AM horrified that JoAnns has online and ships international..don't tell me. Just don't tell me. I'm with you too, paid delivery charges has me expecting a rapid delivery for sure. You know they only let you work out the re-inker prices after to MAKE you place another order, huh!!

    1. Aw thanks! But the having to place another order was totally my fault, this time. Although, maybe it is still their fault...I had the prices figured out just fine before ordering, but they "hid" the seasonal colors under their own separate picture, see? Like when you order a reinker from the regular colors you just click on the picture and then a list will drop down and you choose from it. Well, the seasonals weren't there so I didn't think they had them. Then later, after ordering of course, I was still meandering around and I found another reinker picture...what's this I wondered...click...well! It's the seasonal color reinkers only! Ugh. New order. But, oddly enough, they have the reinkers but not the pads...unless I just haven't found where they've hidden them yet! :) Still I got the reinkers and just made my own pads. That'll show 'em, right? lol :)
