Happy 4th Anniversary Julia and friends! WOYWW #208

It's a big to do this week, thanks to Julia at Stamping Ground, and I haven't arranged to trade ATC's with anyone yet! I'm just not on the ball here, am I? But I would love to trade with anyone who wants, so just let me know in the comment section if you want to trade. :) Here is my desk this week:
Not much happening, huh? Spellbinders dies and matching stamps out, 2 new packs of adhesive backed K&Company papers, gorgeous!, and miscellaneous other stuffs...plus this:
So fancy with the black and white filter, right? ;) Other than that I whipped up these cards one day when I was in an orange, pinky and yellow mood...thanks to those My Minds Eye 3d stickers propped on my desk...
I made the doily on the left card! With a corner punch from MS and some Youtube help, of course. :) It also showcases my first attempt at using the resist technique, with the card on the right showcasing my second attempt. I wish I could take better pictures because they really are darling cards, not because *I* made them but because the colors are so fab together and I had embellishments/ribbon and whatnot that just fit so nicely. Though I am thinking of trimming the twine on the left card a tad...Oh, well. Hope everyone enjoys this special WOYWW hop and please let me know if you would like an ATC by yours truly! :)
A special thanks to all who were concerned about my health and sent well wishes! I had a super week this week and am planning a liver/gallbladder flush for next week so hopefully that'll mean buh-bye stones! :)
And here is the extra special thingy I grabbed to share, for Nicky! And Julia, too, of course! ;)

  2. I don't think MME could ever produce anything I don't like. Your cards are cute - the resist looks great. Sticky back K&Co? I did not know of such things..do you use it for die cutting or other, less obvious things?

    1. Well I haven't used it yet, too busy admiring it! lol I do plan to use it for die cutting, especially some of the more intricate dies that are hard to get adhesive onto, without running them through the Xyron of course. Thanks for stopping by! :)

  6. Hey girl great desk, yep BF says trim the twine and I say trim it too, so chop it LOL. It needs to look like a bow. As for your gall bladder you take it easy and don't stress, stress doesn't help. Say hi to C and hugs to you both.

  21. Hi There, thoroughly enjoyed reading through your post. I've never heard of sticky-backed K&Co, sounds interesting, and your cards are lovely - like the colours and all the pretty details. However, I went white at the mention of a liver/gallbladder flush - so glad I said bye-bye to my gallbladder three years ago :)) Have a lovely weekend. Elizabeth x #155

  24. I hope the flush works/worked, Deeyll, and you are stone-free! How late am I getting around this week? Sigh! Better late than never though, right?! I spied something VERY interesting on your desk: K&Company "adhesive" packs? WHA?? I'm checking that out. How cool. I love their papers.

Well, I'd best scoot on. Again, good luck and stay well!! Darnell #34
