Howdy bloggers! That's how you say "hi", if yer a cowgirl. Which I'm not. But I play one in the movies. ;)
So what you're really here for is to see my mess, and I do not disappoint!
Not this week, anyways. :) As always a humongous, a word that looks better spelled this way: hugemongus...I digress. A humongous thanks to the dear Julia Dunnit over at Stamping Ground for hostessing this most curious of all blog hops, the great grand snoop of the week, a.k.a. What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday! Go check it out and see lots more desks...and without further ado here is mine:
See my new Prima Songbird collection papers? (And the little stamp set there on the left?) Ooh, they are so lovely I have already made two card bases from one sheet and have started on another two bases from another sheet. You can see one in the background of the below pic, which is of an almost completed dress card. I think I still want to add a sentiment to the front or something...
This is the other baby boy card I've made for my mum to choose from...it probably needs a sentiment on front, too, huh?
And here are my new Crafty Secrets stamp sets! They were totally on sale ;) and they are totally fabulous!
So, hopefully, I will have some more projects completed soon. If that silly schoolwork would stop getting in my way! Hope you all have a wonderful week and get lots of crafty and creative stuff done. :)
Howdy girlfriend! Like the looks of your desk and the cards you are making. I am going to have to look into some of the Crafty Secrets stamps! I wish this cold weather would go away and I sit out side to do my crafting. I know what you mean about school getting in your way. I have been an RN for 37 years but I just graduated with the BSN in 2010. Then in the fall I got sick and had to retire on SSDI!! UGH! No sense to all the work then not being able to use what I learned. Hope you have a great week! Vickie #43
ReplyDeleteThat stinks! But just think of all the character you surely developed in pursuing that goal. Perhaps that's what you really have to take away from that experience? Hugs and have a great week, too! :)
DeleteLovin the look of all those stamps! Heaven :). The baby boy card is cute, especially the photo of the cupcakes. Have a great week, Hugs Shaz #65
ReplyDeleteThanks and you have a great week, too! :)
DeleteHowdy to you too wonderful friend, I have really enjoyed like most weeks snooping around your desk. I am in envy of your shopping for bargains those stamps are brilliant I also love those bird stamps to the left totally yummie. Yep and I spied the prima paper too.
ReplyDeleteGlad you enjoyed the Roo but no we are not in africa where the rhinos come from. The Roos can do a lot of damage to cars on the road, I have seen them write cars off and jump away they are strong beasts.
I have been playing with my stuff and used some of the timmy stamps and I think of you when I do anything timmy.
Say hi to the boy for me.
Eliza
We have deer like you have Roo's I'm guessing. Except, unless they are really big, the car they total usually totals them, too. Hope you're having a blast with the TH stuff. :)
DeleteLove the baby card, and those stamps.....wow!
ReplyDeleteThanks! :)
DeleteOh My goodness! I'm loving the song bird stamp set. Those two cards are sooo pretty. I'm going to look those up right now! And that dress card is adorable.

Thanks for thinking and saying my cards are pretty. It's very encouraging to "hear" such a nice comment. :)
DeleteHowdy cowgirl! Do you wear those real pointy cowboy boots?
ReplyDeleteYour cards look great. I love the dress and how you've distressed it a bit. Very lovely card. The baby card is adorable too.
Love your workdesk. I see so much paper stacks!!!'
Happy WOYWW
Hugs,
Kay #123
I don't even have a single pair of cowboy boots! lol But back when I did I wore the more rounded off kinds, Justin's I think we called them? Oh, that was soooo long ago! :)
DeleteYou see so many paper stacks and yet, that's just the postcard size, 6x6 size and that one other size! All my 12x12 stacks are to the right of where I sit. And the A4 stacks, which I feel like I only discovered a little while ago, haven't gotten their own home exactly yet and they are just sticking out of all kinds of spaces! lol :) But they are perfect for each sheet makes two full size cards so I'm leaning towards buying them more often than other sizes now...
Ok, you take craft storage to an art form. You have every inch of your desk in use. Wow. I am in awe!!
ReplyDeleteLove all the new stamp sets too. So fun!!
Sorry I am 2 days late getting to your blog. I have been battling a nasty flu bug.
Lori #84
I tend to think we're not late unless the next week's WOYWW has started! lol That's probably because I tend to take a little bit to get my visits in...or I'm just perpetually "late"! :) Hmm, well anyways, I do hope you are feeling all better by now. :)
DeleteOoh look at all of your paper!! Love new d.p. on the desk, with matching tape too?! a late Happy WOYWW! Nan 113
ReplyDeleteI just figured out what you meant! No, the tape is not actually matching. I use duck brand(?I don't think that's really the name of it!) double-sided sticky tape on a roll and it has a liner on one side which has ducks on it...I think that's what you thought coordinated with my new Songbird paper, and from the angle of the picture I took it does seem to, but in reality it doesn't. :)
DeleteLove the baby boy card so cute and all those new stamps to play with have fun - I am not sharing a desk as away from home looking after my friends cattery but enjoying having a good look around everyone else's desk
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by Nicky! :)
DeleteHowdy back, Deeyll!! Always a fun visit to you! I love your cards as they are, but a wee sediment added would be cute, too. And what a haul of new stamps! It's hugemongus!! Way to go!!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for stopping by the Playhouse and leaving your anniversary wishes!! I'm sorry I'm just now getting around to my WOYWW friends to return the flavor of their visit. I took some time off to celebrate with Mister, don't you know! The outpouring of love has been quite overwhelming and wonderful!
Hope your week has been going well! Darnell #64
I'm with you, better late than never and I don't think we are *really* late until the next one has started! :) Glad you had a wonderful anniversary and thanks for the return visit. I quite agree about the sentiments on the cards...now just narrowing it down or finding exactly the right one is the challenge remaining! :)
DeleteCan't wait to see pics of your haul! lol :)
