Just barely still WOYWW #188

Well, I made it this week and that's somethin', right? :) What have I made it to? You must go see Julia over at Stamping Ground for all the details and here are a few pictures of some things I have been doing over the last two weeks, since I totally  missed posting/joining last week. It was just too crazy around here! lol
It doesn't even look like I've been up to much, does it? :) I haven't been in this room too much the last few weeks, actually. But still I managed to get a few cards finished in two weeks. You'd think that would be plenty of time to at least get a few done, right? lol
This next card is one I made for my dear Sis to give to her husband, cause I know she thinks this sentiment fits him perfectly. :)
I don't know who this is for, but it sure was fun to make! The dress skirt just ruffles right off the page...it just occurred to me the birds almost look like maybe they have made the dress, like in Cinderella, remember? And off the top of my head I do not remember where I downloaded the pattern from...but it was free! :)
This card was requested by my mom for a new baby boy in the fam, like a cousin or something...
Didn't make this and haven't even gotten to play with it yet because it just came in today, finally! I paid a ridiculously low price for it($5.99) but then that was made up for because I had to wait a ridiculously long time for it to get here! lol I hear you saying I needed to gain patience more than another crafty toy...and you are right! :)
Anyways, that's it for me this week...classes started today so...also Sunday evening we decided to install a walk-in pantry which involved demo (pleased my hammer swinging son to no end!) and then lots of cutting and measuring and moving all kinds of stuff all over the place so needless to say, but I will, my living room looks like a bomb hit it...but it's getting better because we finally got it all framed up, including the new door I framed in, and shelves put up so it's getting filled and my living room is getting emptied...it makes me so happy! Which is a good thing because it has been a looooooooooot of work. A lot. Hope everyone is taking care and having wonderful visits all over the world! :)

    1. lol I am a *teeny* bit crazy! :) And the dust has been ridiculous! Seriously. Why didn't I think about it beforehand?! And we did almost all our wood cutting(2x4's and shelves and wood cleats) IN the house! Okay, so maybe I'm a *little* more than a teeny bit crazy. :)

  4. Great cards, trying to figure out the new toy that arrived, is it a die cut? Looks cute. One day late but aiming to comment on EVERYONE this WOYWW, waving hi from the hills of North Carolina :)

    1. No, it's the die itself! :) Even better, right? It's Rachel Bright's XL House die, for making albums and stuff, so of course I'm planning to use it to make cards. The picture is what it could look like and the solid orange shapes are the shapes the die actually cuts out. I haven't gotten to use it yet, classes and that pantry project, but hopefully I will have a new card from it done soon. :)

  8. Swinging hammers, what next. that sounds a scary thing. We went the other way, and turned our pantry under the stairs into a downstairs loo. Lovely cards there too. xx Maggie #32

    1. It's so awesome all the things you can do with paper, huh? And I am not really even that talented...you should see what some other people can do! :) I'd give you links but, um, well I just google and pin...so, I have an Inspiration board on Pinterest under Deeyll, where you can see cooler stuff than mine. :)
