WOYWW #181

Hmm, this week I haven't done much, but I did get a personal paying, yes paying! request for some hair bows. Lets see how they photo'd...but first I'll give you the link to why on earth I would be doing such a thing or showing you what you are about to see...blame it all on a dear lady named Julia! :)
First is the bow, of which I had to make two, one for the requester and one to match for her friend...then her bonus bow:
It's really fab in real life, but I had to take the photo rather quickly as she was waiting to abscond with it! And here is the grand finale...
What a disaster, right? lol Hey, I did figure out I can use my spellbinder dies to cut fabric, as well. And just generally got everything out and made a big mess. :) I mostly made the mess playing with my stamping gear and then getting too tired to clean up after myself...maybe tomorrow? Take care lovely blog visitors! :)

  6. When I first saw the photo I thought, "What is she tying to that dog?!?" Love the bows, they are ultra fancy for sure. I laugh that there is such a big mess on your desk as a result of making. Isn't it funny how one (or two) little projects can trash the whole place?! It's that creative mess! Gotta have it!

    1. Yah, and the messiest part of that mess came just from those 3 little hairbows! lol

    1. Yah, this was my first time to use the spellbinders dies to cut fabric, but it was a really thin fabric, a lace panel actually, and it did very well. I'm pleased to have the extra functionality from the dies. :)

  9. Hey girl, just found a chance to drop in and say hi, I am with the others at first I thought ah dog supermodel and then looked closer, you got us all fooled LOL. Good on you for getting paid work and the bows look great, with or without the dog LOL. So pleased to see you got to play on your desk and not just study and sit exams or submit papers.

I have not posted this week, to busy and a dear friend passed away which threw things into caos.

    Hugs Eliza

    1. Thanks for making the time to stop by Eliza! It was so nice to get to play and get paid, but I like to play even when it doesn't pay, right? :) Sorry so many sad and busy events kept you from joining WOYWW this week...I hope next week is happier and slower! :)

  10. The bows are amazing - and LOL @ too tired to clear up! My work desk is in a wardrobe with sliding doors so my excuse is I can just step back, shut the doors and not have to see the mess...until the next time I want to do some work and I open the doors to be greeted by chaos. Each time I say to myself "I will tidy up after I have finished"! Happy WOYWW xxx Laura #51

    1. That's who it was! I knew I had seen it recently, and I did return his visit for WOYWW this week, but just couldn't quite remember where I had seen it. Thanks and I'm glad you're getting better. :)
