WOYWW # 154

So it's um, not exactly Wednesday anymore but it's not much past it so... :) Lookee! See how clean my workspace is! I've been working on my, only its not mine, first scrapbook. And I have discovered it's a lot less messier than making cards. You can see more desks over at the Stamping Ground.
I couldn't give you guys a close-up of the layouts because the people in the pictures aren't me.
See, how clean my desk is? So, thanks for stopping by and please leave a comment. I heart them! :)
And for those eager to know...I did pass all the classes I had to in order to get my Bachelors degree! I still have an hour to make up this summer and then its, hopefully, off to Graduate school this fall. After I take the GRE and pass it, of course. Have a great week all you sweeties! And even if you're not a sweetie...
;)

  1. Congratulations on passing your classes. What a wonderfully well-organised work desk - it looks like it's crying out to be worked on!

    1. Thanks! And, I wish I could pop by...because if I recall you live in the land down under, right? I've never been to Australia but have lots of friends who have been and they loved it. Also, I really do love to organize! :)

  3. It is a beautifully tidy desk but as you say, scrapbooking is messier than cardmaking so I guess it will be in a mess again soon. Thank you for stopping by my desk too. Anne x

    1. You're welcome and thanked for returning the visit! I must have wrote it wrong in my post but I meant that I thought scrapbooking, at least this one(and first) experience, was much tidier than my regular craft of cardmaking. I use lots of ink and stamps in cardmaking that I didn't use in the scrapbook so there was much less mess. But thanks for thinking my desk was beautifully tidy...I was pretty impressed, too! It is soooooo rarely that clean... :)

  4. I couldn't wait to visit because of the lovely comment you left me. First, I really like your desk. It's a REAL desk, not a table like I have in my upstairs craft area. Looks like it is even organized and everything is in its place. I really like those yellow bins, too. I have a few in the basement studio, but none upstairs.

I'm not a scrapbooker, so I have NO idea if there are crops around Wichita. I couldn't tell where you were from, but I take it near OKC somewhere, only closer to KS than that. However, you are welcome to visit ME anytime and we will make some altered art OR even some great backgrounds you can take with you. I have a relatively clean house now (grin) and would welcome you. Of course, if you would rather meet somewhere public, that would be fine, too. I totally understand.

Congrats on passing you bachelor's program. I have a PhD, so I know all about the GRE. It's not something you pass or fail, per se, but if your scores are poor, you won't get into any good uni. I've known people who have taken it several times to improve their chances of getting into a good school. Unfortunately, the LAST (or most recent) score is always the one you are stuck with, so it's the luck of the draw. I took it once, and said if that wasn't good enough, to heck with it. Fortunately, I was very lucky and got into the only grad school I applied to. Have a great week. Happy WOYWW from #5.

    1. I don't generally scrapbook, either. I prefer to make cards and I would love to get into altered art. It looks really messy! lol
I live just a few miles from the Kansas border so Wichita is only like 45 mins to an hour away. I would love to come up sometime this summer if I can...I was one hour short on my hour credits so I ended up having to take 6 hours in summer classes and they are so accelerated...and then there is that stupid GRE that I'm starting to sweat a little! I only applied to one Grad school so I hope my score is good enough. I know this much, I can only afford to take it once! At least it's cheaper than the GMAT, right? So, I'm going with the once and it better be good enough theory, too! :) Have a great weekend!

  5. congrats on getting your classes done...

I don't make scrapbooks or cards...and yes it does look like it takes up a lot of ....erm.....space..... hahhah....

My little bears don't take up much space at all...although the fluff does get everywhere some days it seems...

  7. Congrats on passing all your needed classes. When I took the GREs it was the last year, I think, that they were given on paper. I showed up with a handful of sharpened pencils. lol I love those polka-dotted and plaid pails that you have hanging up. I have a couple of a similar size on my table and love them. I always keep my eyes out in the Target dollar spot. Happy WOYWW from Laura #117

    1. Thanks! I think I got my pails on clearance at Hobby Lobby...but I love the Target dollar spot, only we don't have a Target in my little city. :(
But we do have a Dollar Tree so... :)

  8. Thank you for saying that scrapbooking is less messy than making cards. I was beginning to think I was the most messy of the messies....Seriously though, your space is very neat and orderly.

A big CONGRATS on completing your Bachelor's Degree. Quite an accomplishment. Now on to your Master's. Good on you....Enjoy your summer. I'll be back to see what you've been doing.
