I'm really excited to show my first ever Challenge entry! Here it is:
Supplies used:
white cardstock
patterned stock from Laundry Line by My Minds Eye
3 butterfly diecuts from K&Company (I further inked their edges to "finish" them)
leaf and flower patterned ribbon from Ribbon Boutique
glitter ribbon from Ribbon Trends
embossing folder by Sizzix on Tiffany blue cardstock (center)
Big Shot diecut scalloped white circles-Spellbinders, Lacey Circles pattern
punched scalloped sage green circles
glitter glue from Studio G
stamp from OTC, butterfly set
I want to enter this in:
Critter Sketch Challenge ( I used their sketch)
Fussy and Fancy Friday Challenge (I used butterflies, punches and ribbons)
So I don't know exactly how this works but I it was fun to work within some limitations...sometimes I just can't get inspired to make anything because all my supplies are so awesome that I think, "Oh, I could do this or this or this or this or..." and so on it goes and nothing gets done! Does that ever happen to anyone else?! :) Hope you all had a wonderful weekend!
Your creation is lovely! I love the glittery touch and the delicate scallop cut-outs. Like you, I have lots of supplies and I become overwhelmed when I sit down to make something. Sometimes I have to walk away and I don't get back to it for days.
ReplyDeleteThank you! Do you ever sit down to create and then just aimlessly make an assortment of embellishments? If you've seen any of my WOYWW picture posts you can see both sides of the space on my desk that I keep cleared out to actually craft on have miscellaneous embellishments just filling them up...I will make all kinds of pretty embelllishments but no cards or tags to put them on! I seem to lose my oomph. :)
DeleteFabulous Card and a lovely blog.. Stunning.. I love the sparkle and those butterflies are Gorgeous and the backing papers are just perfect.. Thanks for sharing at Fussy & Fancy.. Good Luck! Hugs May x x x
ReplyDeleteThank you so much! I, too, love the sparkle on that card...thankfully my newly built-by-me light box caught the sparkle for the camera pretty well. I'm planning a post for the tutorial page pretty soon on how to build your own light box so everyone can catch the sparkles on their cards, too! :)
