WOYWW #215

Hello and welcome to my blog! :) If you came here via the ever fabulous Julia from Stamping Ground then you'll be wanting to see my desk, huh? I have several pics this week...
I dug out my card blanks/bases and worked on them, getting several gussied up. ;) That is, I embellished them. :) Hey, here is the reason I call it a craft cave:
My swiveling chair, with behiney in it, usually resides in that 2-3 foot wide space. Well, everything is right at hand. Or it is as I swivel. :) Someday I may clean this room out of the stuff that is just being stored in here and have more room. But I do like that everything is so close at hand...hmmm. Anyways, next are several cards, newly embellished and ready to roll:

Well, that's enough of that for now. But here is an anniversary card I made up, fresh, Friday last. It's one of those multi-fold thingies. :) Can you believe I had to find the directions again? It's been a year since I made one of these! And then the directions were so simple I felt stupid for not remembering them, oh well. :)
I did manage to give away or otherwise liberate myself of around 50 cards over the weekend! Now there is space for me to create more! :) Hope everyone has a fab WOYWW and many thanks to those who contributed their opinions on burlap v.s easel. I couldn't decide so I went with both! :)

  1. Hello dear friend, wow you have been busy, how is the body faring with all the crafting in the chair? I hope you are not over doing things and making yourself sick again. (says I that continues to cram everything into my life) I really like that butterfly card with lots of butterflies on it. I think you need a bigger space to craft in and it is so apt to call it a cave. Good for you selling all of those cards. I am creating some postcards in between WOYWW posts today I am certain to get some creating done. Anyways I owe you an email and some happy mail I am sure, talk soon.

Happy WOYWW lots of hugs Eliza

  10. Beautiful cards, and I couldn't agree more that it is good to have everything at hand. You often forget things when you can't see them. Space is my biggest problem in my craft room too! Happy WOYWW! Danie #34

  11. I can tell that getting rid of those cards sparked your renewed creativity in gusseying up some more, Deeyll! And when you say embellish, you're not kidding around! Love the fold card; I've no idea how to do it. I can relate to it taking a year. If I had the directions, it would only just get added to my long list of "things I want to try!"

Happy WOYWW and have a wonderful week! Darnell #20
