I missed it because I was asleep most of Wednesday! I have been very very busy the last week or so and it finally all caught up with me on Wednesday...I didn't get up until noon and then by 1:30, or an hour and a half later, I felt so drained that I laid down on top of my bed in a faceplant and promptly crashed for 4 hours! Even when I woke up I still felt tired but, purely in an effort to stay awake, I went out to get some food and see if Hobby Lobby had the new stuff up on the shelves yet. And they did. :) But it wasn't on sale and, though I love new craft stuff, I love a good deal more so I will wait until it is half off, which should be next week or so. I can wait, right? It builds my patience, something I can always use more of. Well, I just wanted to check in and make sure anybody who cares or is a regular WOYWWer perhaps doesn't go into withdrawals from my lack of posting this week. :)
Have a fabulous weekend and hope to see you soon, or at least next Wednesday. :)

WOYWW #198
Not much up this week, been busy cleaning. :) I did want to join in the fun over at the Stamping Ground, which thanks to the hostess with the mostest, a.k.a. Julia Dunnit, it is What's on your workdesk, Wednesday, again. I have been playing with some new dies and coordinating stamps, though, and finished a few cards so here is my desk and the cards:
You can't really tell but the brownish area is actually more gold than brown, but like an antique gold. The card laying down on the job isn't quite finished yet...I got tired and laid down on the job, too! :)
Chicken wire embossing folder! Love it! And Crafty Secrets farm stamp set...there is supposed to be a cow's head where the girl is standing but I needed something for her to appear to be looking at so I just colored in the area's of the stamp I wanted and wahlah! A view!
This next one looks rather plain, but that's just my horrible photography! :)
See? It actually has mini pearls all over it, so pretty!
And this whole grand display has been brought to you today by the letter R. :)
Have a lovely week!

WOYWW #197 with mostly unfinished cards.
Hello lovely people! It's Wednesday again and time for What's on your workdesk! Find out all about it from the fabulous Julia at Stamping Ground. Here is my desk shot:
Do you spy new toys? :) Got the Clocks and Homespun dies on Ebay, I believe, for great prices and some others, not shown. I love Ebay! At the right times, of course. ;) I finally got the hexagon dies, that I have wanted for like forever, and a stamp set, but I got them at Artfire(great supplies/prices). I've already made several card bases with them! And I was going to show them to you, but finished cards are prettier so I'll wait. Here is one finished(I think?) card, though:
It will probably just be a hello or cheer up kind of card. Made it with Spellbinders dies and Paper Studio punches...speaking of Paper Studio, if you are near a Hobby Lobby they are getting in the new Spring/Summer stuff and WOW! Some super cute stuff in the embellishment line for sure and, over in the jewelry/bead department, they have a gorgeous new line already out, called Poetic something. Pretty! Next is a picture of the baggies I used in dying the flowers and ribbon last week. I saved the bags as they still had dye in them and just labeled them with a sharpie. They are sitting in my Sculpey baking pan, which I put inside a baking bag, when baking Sculpey, so I don't have to dedicate an oven to baking Sculpey. ;)
And that's all for now! Hopefully I'll get some cards finished and posted later this week, but I wouldn't bet on it since I have a big exam this week. And lots of housecleaning to do! :)

WOYWW #196 and so much color!
I've some lovely colorful pics to share today and, of course, the one of my desk...why my desk? Because its that wonderful day of the week when we snoopy crafty people's like to wander all over the world, peeking into other crafters workspaces, enabled by the fabulous Julia over at Stamping Ground! Follow the link if you want to see more and, without further ado, here is my workspace this Wednesday:
Kinda boring, huh? :) I know. I was starting a new card. But I did make some pretty stuff since last week...
Fun and colorful card as I played with the Spellbinders dies and then the next set of three came from just 4(3 patterned and 1 of butterflies) pieces of 6x6 paper, plus the white card blanks, of course:
It's hard to tell but there is a shiny red accent(rhinestone?) in the center of each flower. So this is what was left over from the fussy cutting of the butterflies off of one of those 4 pieces mentioned above:
I decided to challenge myself and see if I could make a card with those scraps...yes, I consider this a challenge! :) I usually just scoot the scraps to the side with the hopes that one day they will get used! lol (And this is why I *never* call myself a scrapper! lol)
But I think it turned out fairly well, huh? All the images touching the outside edges of the card are paper and then the inner butterflies were all stamped in coordinating colors. Add a little bling and a sentiment and wahlah! Next are just fun eye candy sorts of pictures...I got into more dying during this last week. Here are the fruits of my labors:
Don't you want to eat them all up?! lol :) Well, I hope everyone is having a fabulous WOYWW and life outside of the internet...there is such a thing, yes? ;)
