Found: Kitten (Update after the pictures)

Lost: my mind! No, actually we aren't keeping this little miss, though my son would dearly love to. Look how adorable she is:

I know she was too adorable, right? :) She was just so tiny and furry and soft! But she did end up in a good home(my Aunt's), out in the country with 2 momma cats and several other kittens, some smaller than her, some bigger, but plenty of playmates and access to cat milk, which is better for her than the cow milk I have. My Aunt came to get her and sat with us and cuddled her and said she would feed her special soaked food like she does another kitty of hers named Little Bit. And Weenie just was not growing any fonder of her so I really was worried for her safety around here.
We came to have her because her mother abandoned her. She "cried" for 2-3 hours under our back porch, and we let her, hoping her mother would come back, but no such luck! Based on the size of the other kittens near here she appeared to be a runt, and my Aunt says some mother cats, but not my Aunt's, will do that to a runt. We tried to get her back in with the mother cats around here but they would have nothing to do with her so we couldn't leave her to fend for herself. So we took her in to keep her safe and fed her until we could find a good home for her, which happened thankfully quickly, as she was still very young and needed a momma cat to love her properly. So I think this story has a happy ending, at least so far. :)

Robotics?

Had a free workout at Tan & Tone yesterday...the lady said we should feel it today but so far...nothing.
I'm really kinda disappointed. I was ready to feel the burn! She said I did all the machines properly...

so maybe I need more resistance? I guess I'll ask today since we are probably going back, depending on how the other lady I went with feels, of course. I'll let y'all know. I'm sure you're waiting with baited breath. ;)

Have a lovely day and maybe I'll get my homemade professional white-box or light box, I'm not sure which is the proper name, created today and have pictures and instructions up on the tutorial page later this week...or maybe not. :) Which just made me wonder, how do you take a good picture of something you make to take good pictures in???

Springing forward throws me off!

How about you? My son was very upset last night when all his clocks said 8 and I told him it was bedtime because time had moved ahead one hour. He claimed it still only felt like 8 to him so he wasn't 9 o'clock tired and shouldn't have to go to bed early! It just didn't seem fair to him that someone somewhere decided this time changing thing was a good idea and he has to go along with it...and I know the feeling.

Weekend Plans?

So most of my weekend plans include, but are not limited to, avoiding writing a 10 page legal class paper and then actually writing the stupid thing. How do I avoid schoolwork?

Ya, I play around on my computer! No, I usually do housework, for real. But I caught some sort of stomach bug this week so all I really feel like doing is this:

But, alas, all my friends be well and busy...so it would appear that instead I am inflicting myself upon, well, I haven't figured that one out yet. How about I let you know later? All this thinking and pasting and uploading has worn me out...hope ya'll have a wonderful weekend! :)

Overnight Guests!

My lervely niece...

 In her monkey jammies! Look at her pose...not her first rodeo, huh? ;) Next is my nephew, trying on a cabbage patch doll shoe...his dad would have a fit! But when my niece is here the mess goes from being cars and trucks to dolls and play food.

Ignore the hideous couch...the linen slipcover in a nice tame cream color has to get washed and bleached fairly regularly with a growing boy in the house, specially since his feet can't stay off it! Its all good though, it can be thrown in the washer and dryer easily. I highly recommend slipcovers if you have children. So easy to wash...

I just have one quick question...

Well, I guess his eyes being open just a bit is a little creepy, but otherwise, seriously, isn't he adorable? I put his sweater on him and covered him back up with a lovely cashmere blanky, only the best for my sweetie! And he finally got warm enough to go back to sleep, you know, sleep...that thing he does for 20 out of roughly every 24 hours?

We had a little guest last weekend!

My nephew stayed over last weekend and he was so cute I had to snap a few pictures...Check him out!
This first picture is what he does when you tell him to smile...

Looks almost painful, right? But it is so cute in reality! He did this every time I told him to smile. I just have to wonder what his parents are teaching him! : )
Next is a picture of what he can do to my nice clean living room in just under 10 seconds flat.

But at least my brother has taught him to pick up after himself and so this picture is after he has even picked up several things already. I'm not sure what Weenie Dawg is contributing to the effort, though. I think he is getting a head start on deleavening by looking for the cookies my nephew stashes around my house...including the Coco Puffs he puts in toy cars. They are like little round dark people, not saying they are fat-just round from every angle!

What are you looking at?

Well, with my classes wrapped up for this last semester you would think I would be posting like crazy. I mean, I have the time now, right? Hmmm...I always find stuff to fill my days up though so it seems like I have to make time for things I really want to do, otherwise they just won't get done. I think I read something the other day that said I put the "pro" in procrastinating. If it can't be put off until tomorrow then it probably won't get done today either. Any thoughts? What do you have to make time for? And what do you push off until the last possible moment? If you are reading this I really do want to know what you think...have you seen my visitor count? You are so rare and few, my precious visitors! Seriously, confess. Leave as anonymous if you need to. I'll still know who you are. Maybe. I mean, I didn't know my own sister wanted to take a pottery class! Surprise me...

Monday?

I just checked and it seems I don't blog much on Mondays. I can't imagine why not. I do get out of bed on Mondays. I do turn the computer on. I even cook on Mondays. So, why not blog, too? But it has got me thinking...what do I do with the first day of the business week? What do you do? Do your Mondays go better than this?

Of course, it's not the mule that overloaded the cart, huh? Well, hope you have a good week and don't overload your brain or your mouth! (You know, keep your foot out of it?)
